Saffron crocus

    I planted some saffron crocus bulbs last summer (in Kent). They sprouted in the autumn and looked quite healthy: no flowers though.

    The leaves didn't die back: they have lasted right though the winter, all through the heavy snow, and are still green now, if a bit straggly. There's no sign of any new growth.

    What should I do now? Just leave them? Or cut off last year's leaves?
