sage

    i recently planted some sage seeds in my ickle plant tub things (vocab of a true gardener there :rolleyes: ) and i was wondering how long i should leave it in water for?

    are your ickle plant tub things in a propagator, or poly bag, or something, Dave? If so, the basic plan is to keep them moist - which they'll do left alone in poly bags, but you may have to keep an eye on a propagator as the heat can dry things out, despite the humidity above the soil - that can be deceptive. I'd say you want to keep an eye on them for the first signs of growth, and take off covers gradually, and once they're a reasonable size, move them on to no heat (if they ever had any!!. In my recollection sage quite likes being kept moist - but not drowned! It certainly did well that way for me.
