    While having my coffee break today spotted Mr Spider taking his lunch break.

    What alerted me was the buzzing. Bee was caught in web. Spider came out of lair sank it's fangs in and then dragged bee off to the larder.

    Thanks Hornbeam. It was quite fascinating watching it happens.
    Shot a few frames in sequence, but have had to crop the animation to reduce file size ;

    This one looks like a fly or spider will do (taken in my brother's garden last weds). [​IMG]

    Here's a few more. They were all taken in the garden in Crete last week.

    The only stick insect I found.

    Whilst I wouldn't mind a bit of global warming right now (Not that it's cold - just chucking down) I don't think I want the cockroaches that would come with it. :eek:
