I have dug a veg plot and manured it for potatoes. However now the owner wants me to plant some salads as well as some other root veg in it. The manure that has been put in is old - probably at least 2- 3 yrs. Is it ok to plant salads in a plot that has just been manured.

If the manure was well rotted (i.e it looks nice and dark and crumbly and you can't make out any of the original material) then your veggies will do really well in it.
