Im reading that salt is a good weedkiller. Has anyone tried it and does it really work ? Im assuming its just mixing salt from supermarket and water and pouring it on the gravel and this will kill the weeds that are growing in between the gravel ???

I use salt and water for our driveway, yes it does kill the weeds, i mix 3/4 kg salt to 6 pints of water in a 6 pint milk plastic bottle, shake well for it to mix and stand for a while then shake more then i put into a spray bottle and spray the weeds on a dewy dry day like this morning, but don't spray anything you don't want to kill, a good wetting of the leaf and let to dry, because carefull about walking on salty area then walking onto your lawn etc
