Just find some samphire in the shop , I was wondering if possible to grow them away from the seaside .
Now that is a very good question! It is gorgeous so I took the liberty of finding some research - http://www.samphire.org.uk/growing_samphire.php
I tried last year Sal, but without success. I bought the seed and it germinated quickly, but never grew after that. I think I got the muddy compost/salty water combination wrong. I will be trying again next year. http://gardenerscorner.co.uk/forum/threads/samphire-anyone-grown-any.40087/ I have some seed left and will send you some if you want.
Thank you JWK , I bought a bag of it at the supermarket , it look pretty easy to root , but as I tasted it actually made out of salt ....I think it need salt to survive and even if grow on the UK costs , It need frost protection . Thank you all , but it will end up in a warm salad or stir fry
