They should have the yellow edge, its a strange plant in that if you grow it by leaf cuttings they will be all green, the yellow edge comes from the root so its usually said you need to divide a plant rather than cuttings.

Yours should, I would think, have the yellow edge as they are suckers from the roots.

Does the 'main' plant have the yellow margin ?
If it does and the leaves are growing from the rhizome they should also have it. I don't know why yours don't.

The variety Laurentii has the yellow margin but the variety Zeylancia doesn't , so it depends which variety you've got.
but as I said, if it's Laurentii I don't know why the new leaves wouldn't have the margin.

I've not looked before at this cultivar but most variagated plants can revert back to the normal, non mutated, colouration. So that would be my first thought.
Another possible reason could be that it's just growth from an originally coloured rhizome that was in the pot. It would be easy to tell as you can gently take the plant out and trace where the rhizome is. If you have two distinct plants then you can just separate them and if it is a revertion then you can divide this portion off. It is best done in spring but they are so hardy I wouldn't worry about disturbing them.

I grew my solid green one from the variagated cultivar which is a chimera.

Probably other ways but how I do it is take a picture and my phone stores it in the gallery.
Click on upload file and I get my pictures on my phone all come up as thumnails, select by tapping on the one you want, it then loads it into the reply box.
Add text if you want and hit post reply.
