    Hi

I grow about 4 different types , I have a feeling it was damaged when it was much smaller and that has caused it to "kink" I would imagine it will fall over as it gets bigger, so if me I would cut off at the base.

Do you have them growing in full sun ? as I noticed a begonia rex in the background .

I agree its been damaged earlier, but its still a viable leaf, so I would leave it.:)
This is one reason I think they need to be grown under cover even though they are hardy.

Outdoors most pitchers end up deformed I find.

You are meant to keep them cold over winter (rest dormant period) mine stay in the greenhouse unheated 12 months of the year so I doubt its that , you need to keep them in full sun to grow properly and to get the best colours in the pitchers otherwise they end up leggy and fall over.

No, I was just making a point really, sorry if I was missleading.

As spruce says they need to be cool, even cold in winter and they come to no harm.
Greenfly on the newly emerging shoots are one example that can deform them, so that they never form properly.
