Hi everyone, I've been after a Sassafras plant/seeds for a while, I would like to grow one to make my own sasparilla/root beer (I used to love the stuff when I was a kid but its tricky to find nowadays) but I can't seem to find anywhere that sells them. Does anyone know of any websites that might stock Sassafras? I don't live near any garden centres or anywhere likely to sell anything like that, so far it's not looking good.

Its not a common plant over here for some reason? Maybe it likes hot summers.
Last time I saw a plant was at Wisley.
