Just reviewing the fixtures for this Saturday , the 12th April. All the matches are starting at 7 minutes past the hour , even the early evening semi final ( The mighty Wigan v wobbly Arsenal  ) What is the reason for this 7 thing ? As usual I am probably missing the obvious .

25 year anniversary of Hillsborough disaster. They stopped that game at 3.06. There will be a minutes silence then the games start at 3.07 (or 7 minutes past whatever hour the mighty Wigan game starts)

Thanks LIF , Mrs H thought it may be Hillsborough , but we could not understand the significance. A nice gesture from the FA.

      Yep hillsborough remembrance.
It only seems like yesterday I was there as a nine year old as a forest fan!
