this is a lovely pie got recipe off my friend had the pie at hers a few times and i just had to get this recipe off her its very nice.this amount should make 2 pies in a fairly deep pie tin 8 inches round.

    Filling.

    2 packs Sausage Meat
    Packet Of Cranberries
    packet Apricots cut into pieces
2 Apples any type cut into pieces.
    1 packet sage & onion
    2 Chopped Onions
    1 egg Salt & Pepper
    mix all together

    Pastry

    8ozs plain flower
    6ozs self raising flour
    10 ozs butter or margarine
mix these together like fine bread crumbs
    then add 1 egg beaten
then add water to form the dough

roll the pastry out and put in the 2 tins then put the mixture in then roll out 2 pieces of dough for the top.
brush beaten egg on top of pastry
i put them in oven on a 7 gas cook till nice and brown on top.

hope you enjoy its a great pie for any occasion

That looks good Rosa. A variation on that would be similar to my sausage pinwheels. Mix the sausage mixture up, lay it on top of the rolled out pastry and roll, then slice into one inch slices and bake.
