Scarifying

My lawn is a mess at the moment and I was thinking I would scarify it, can anyone tell me if it would be ok to do this around the end of March please?

 

Hi Cass, we usually give the lawn a scarify about March/April then give it a top dressing of fertilser.Our lawn is a bit of a mess at the moment too but it usually recovers. with a bit of TLC.

 

scarify your lawns at the end of march, then you can top dress or fertilize, granular feed is fine, but do it just before your expecting rain, saves scorching the grass
