    Hi to all!

I've recently taken on a project, which includes block paving and a couple of retainer walls in the front garden. However, the neighbours garden is far from pretty and the idea would be to screen/hide it. My idea originally though was to erect the retainer walls to a height of approx 2 foot (60cm) as I do not wish to screen from the front. The retaining walls will be joined at right angles so I am not sure if it would look right to have one higher than the other. Any thoughts please about plants that could be used in this particular situation to provide the screen but can be planted within the retainer wall? Its tricky but there must be something that can be done that is aesthetically very pleasing. The retainers will be approx 1.5 feet wide filled with a lovely alluvial soil, which is fairly neutral.

Thanks for all thoughts and advice!
