I just thought it would be fun to start a screenshot thread were people can share there desktops and explain a bit about it like..where you got your wallpaper from? or how you changed the colour or customized something or any interesting programs that you have installed:D

    How to take a screenshot:

    Here's mine:

The wallpaper is "Rupert" by ~thewatcher02

Firstly, thankyou for the screenshot info - not something I knew how to do before!

Secondly, I will use this as a test to see if I managed to follow your instructions (which were very good - so it's me not you if it goes wrong!).

Third, obviously I wouldn't start a thread like this because my desktop is very ordinary - I have no idea how to customise it (apart from the background picture bit). However, you invited us to share our desktops, so here is ours - for the time being (picture changes regularly, a great source of amusement for my son and I as we compete for the 'worst picture of the other surprise competition' etc)! :

There's not much explanation - it is a picture my son took of his feet whilst spinning around on the grass of a particularly favorite campsite this summer. Don't think any of the icons are worth commenting on - but if you spot anything that shouldn't be there (ie. another nasty anti-virus virus) do let me know! :D

(oops, got carried away with the resizing!).

Yours is very impressive by the way - I really like it - but how do you manage without icons (or is that them in the cool wee bar at the bottom/in your programmes?)
