Seasonal Photo Comp.. Winter 2011/12

The Seasonal Photo Comp. Winter 2011/12 . Need something new so I thought this would be a nice one to have again as we haven't had one of these for 4yrs & they were always popular.. :yess:

Well Winter is now officially here although you could be mistaken for thinking it isn't, well so far anyway....!!

This comp will run over a 3 month period from Winter Solstice 22nd Dec 2011 to the Vernal Equinox 20th March 2012, to allow for the length of each season & to allow you to get the best photos during that season. Wherever you are in the world your photos will add flavour & variation..

1. The theme will be the current season in the current year. This one being Winter 2011/12 .

2. You can enter up to 5 photos each.

3. Photos can be corrected so as to bring out the best of your photo. Please note *Corrected* not *Enhanced * (please note, there is not an "enhanced" section for the Seasonal Comp photos). Cropping, text & borders if desired. Up to the individual.

4 . Entries to be submitted by 23.59H on the 20th March 2012

There will not be a prize, only the self satisfaction that you have entered & will go in the end of the year gallery.

Please post your pics within this thread for entry into the competition.

The winner will be decided by the users of the forum .

Please note, this is mostly for fun, BUT, it is also a chance for you to show off your photography skills.

Users Vote Guidelines below:-

Voting will be the same as the other competitions. 1st 2nd & 3rd places.

1. Competitors cannot vote for any of their own photographs.

2. Competitors vote on a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place basis with 1st place carrying 5 points 2nd place 3 points and 3rd place 1 point - The photograph with the most vote points wins etc etc.

3. Competitors votes should not be cast until after the competition closes and be in before 11.59pm 7 days after the competition closes.

So remember, all members of the forum get a vote, not just those who've submitted picture.. Have fun everyone... :happydance:
