Yes it is so weird. Previously we have had Indian Summers and some plants have been fooled - but nothing quite like this year. I have got lots of roses out and more in bud. Narcissus in flower and also primroses, auriculas and polyanthus. Hazel nuts and catkins are both on the trees together in the forest. Lawn still needs mowing every week and no leaves are showing any signs of turning orange. February's mahonia is in bud and the daffs ae pushing through. Flowering cherries in bud too. When the frosts do come - there will be wholesale slaughter!

It has been odd. I had Wisteria flower for a second time in August. Just yesterday Polemonium (Jacobs Ladder) and Astrantia Hadspen Blood (Masterwort) broke into flower again.

A week ago when we left to come down here (Portugal) I saw that our raspberry had new buds too. Also our Deutzia had a few blossoms.

My early variety strawberries are flowering!!!! Yet to be honest, other than being drier than usual, I can't say I've noticed the weather being too different than usual

My abutilon, that I rescued from a derelict house garden, is flowering much better now than it did all summer.
The summer bedding plants refuse to stop flowering and cardoon plant that I planted recently has now reached five feet across, with the most gigantic leaves.
