Seaweed tea

    image.jpg Just been for another forage and gathered two bin bags of seaweed to make a fertiliser intend to use mower to chop it up should I wash it first ? Many thanks

    Crikey, I did that years ago - except ...

    ... I didn't chop it (just laid it as it came) and I didn't wash it :redface: :heehee: :oops:

    Give it a good wash first, is my advice.

      Thank you for heads up ! Just been reading that if you cut the bottom off a 2lt plastic bottle fill with seaweed and top up with water place in the ground bottle top down clingfilm the bottom makes super concentrated tea anyone tried ?

      Erm ... sort of :redface: :whistle: Does stuffing it into an unused water butt, filling it with water and then just extracting a bit into a watering can count? :dunno:
