I went to my local market yesterday & spotted these sedum plants, some of you have been recommended them as being great for autumn colour, I got both of these plants for £5, £2.50 each, thought that was a bit of a bargain. I planted them out and they look great, they see to be even pinker than yesterday :)

Nice one - they're a great plan for this time of year. Don't cut them back when they've finished flowering, but wait until next Spring. They look lovely when they dry out in the winter frosts.

Nice plants, grows like anything in our garden, and for the first time this year, we did the 'chelsea chop' on some of them as an experiment. Definitely going to be doing that again, as Sedum has the tendency to flop and look untidy, but by cutting them back by half around the time of the chelsea flower show, makes them into a bushier plant.

    Hope this Helps!

You can also look out for other tall/medium sedum varieties with darker flowers / paler flowers/ variegated foliage / grey foliage / purple foliage etc All attractive to butterflies
