Hi all. I have loads of these in our front gravel garden. This one is growing in a rock wall in the back garden. I used to think it was Sedum 'Angelica', but now I don't think it is. Thanks in advance, Chris.

I think that's just the common one @ChrisM6 - Sedum acre, but I'm not an expert on them.

We have it in all sorts of sites round here, mainly where it's rockier/stonier and therefore a bit drier.

Are you sure its Sedum acre @fairygirl:smile:

I thought I had Sedum acre growing on my shed roof and its just a tight mat forming plant.

however I dont really know what it could be without trawling through the internet:biggrin:

        I really don't know @pete!
I'm sure someone IDd it as that in the past, and as it was one of those plants I see everywhere, and they were knowledgeable, I just assumed they were right.

I'm sure someone here will be able to correct me and give the right name though - there must be a few people on this forum who grow all these sorts of plants. I only have bits and pieces of houseleeks, a white Sedum, which I believe is also a common one, and a red one, that I can't remember the name of. It grows in the gravel in my garden, along with the white one.

I've got or had a plant similar and its a bigger sedum than the one growing on my roof.

This is what I assume to be S. acre.

Yes - that definitely looks different @pete.
I really have no idea. I looked up S. acre after posting here, and the pix didn't look the same - flowers were much brighter yellow, and the foliage was different too.

Mine, and the ones all round here, look like the OP's pic. I think there are so many of these plants that are quite similar, so it needs someone far more knowledgeable about them than me to ID it - wouldn't be hard!
Hopefully someone will help though

Just to say the flowers on mine are pretty much finished in the picture.

Thanks for that, @Angie Jones (nut). Some photos on Google fit the bill for sure, especially the flower stalks. Here's some more photos, as I like this plant, which has done especially well this year - ditto all of our lavenders, irrespective of type or age. I've got to wonder if all the rain we had over 18 months hasn't had some benefit.
