    Hello Woo :)
    I divided a sedum over the weekend. Yes you can do it now.

    Hmm! They need full sun really......for a couple of reasons; they develop sappy tall growth in shade, they will struggle to flower and could rot off in too shady a spot. Can you not find a full sun location?

        Hi @wiseowl a lot of Sedums prefere to be planted in a sunny border and the bees/butterflies will love them although they will survive in a shady spot.When you dig them up and bits of stems that break off just pop them into a jar of water and in a few weeks time they will have sprouted roots and when you have lots of roots at the base you will Be able to plant them out into the garden:smile:

          They are very resilient and tolerant most soils, even heavy clay, but do need some sun for part of the day at least to do well.
