    Amazing.......what an experience for her! We used to 'play' with them when diving between Penguin Island and Safety Bay in West Australia - they would mimic us - if we rolled, they would, if we blew bubbles, they would......but they were feirce on land! What a magical moment captured on video here :) Thanks Shiney!

    haha Loopy - yes, the penguins just waddling past like that was just a normal day on the beach for them....

    There were a lot of comments on this clip as to whether she should be that close (transmission of bacterial disease etc) or the danger of being bitten and causing panic. :skp:

    However she seemed to have a great experience and no one appeared to be adversely affected.:)

    It was a lovely video of a woman sitting on a beach with lots of elephant seals and penguins wandering around in the background. A young seal (bigger than her) came up to investigate what she was.

    It started by sniffing her feet (shoes) and gradually worked its way up until it was looking in her eyes and, apparently, kissing her. It ended up by lying across her and cuddling her. k-l
