Wasn't going to grow much new seed this year but ended up buying these.

Up to the present I've only sown seeds of African Marigolds & Calendulas. I have very little room for sowing seeds on the balcony but in a week or so I shall sow my tomato seeds. I usually sown them on March 21st as that's when I seem to get the best results.

I've tried sowing earlier some years but the seedlings get too leggy & collapse & I have to start again. I will be sowing seeds of Morning Glories in a couple of months time & perhaps some other seed, but I haven't really decided yet.

I didn't sow any seeds at the ..appropriate..time as I knew I'd be going away just as they were needing attention - water, pricking out, potting on, etc. I came back from Spain on Friday so had a good binge sowing session on Saturday. This morning....cucumbers, butternuts, cosmos, zinnia and runner beans all germinating in conservatory. . And..radishes and rocket in cloched containers outside. Still waiting for signs of hestia beans, tomatoes and marigolds. Now I'd better clear weeds as they'll need planting out in no time at this rate....
