Seed Sowing February 2025

First sowing for bedding plants. Petunias, begonias, osteospernum,gazania, on heated bed 18 deg C

 

Bit early for me..........most seeds will be sown in 4 to 6 weeks time.

 

Sowed in cold greenhouse yesterday - penstemon whippleanus Chocolate Drop (to join the penstemon cobaea and penstemon barbatus Jingle Bells sown last month), and thalictrum rochebrunianum. Also put several little trays of seed compost in on a windowsill to take the chill off before sowing things I've found to need a long growing time later in the week.
