I have ordered a couple of seed catalogues, just to have a bit of a browse.

I know of the major suppliers from many years ago, such as Thompson & Morgan, Unwins, Suttons but have found several more online.

I used to grow Craigella tomotoes, which were similar to Ailsa Craig, but did not suffer from greenback. When I did a search for this variety, a firm called JustSeed came up, see the link below http://www.justseed.com/seeds/vegetables/tomatoes/tomato-craigella-1020.html

(NB. The image shown is confusing though .. Craigella are just standard red tomatoes, not rainbow coloured)

Craigella are only 50p plus 85p postage .. seems cheap enough to me

I may give JustSeeds a try this year (wsell next year really) but was wondering ..

Are there any other 'top rate' online seed suppliers (vegetables, not flowers)

    thanks !

PS Why don't others who have grown Craigella recently give their comments on the variety.

PPS Why don't others who haven't, try them for 2014.

    thanks !

I actually found out that a neighbouring allotment society have an offer with King Seeds, all are sold at 50% off. So I'll probably stick with them.

Many seed suppliers give away £5 vouchers with their catalogues - I've just got a voucher/code from DT Brown (who do big packets and free P&P) and used it to buy a bargain selection of seeds that would have cost over £12 for only a couple of quid top up over the voucher cost http://www.dtbrownseeds.co.uk/

Premier seeds on ebay are always a good price http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Premier-Seeds-Direct
