I think you will find that they are owned by Thompson and Morgan Dave.

Don't know this company David. I see that link takes you to cucumbers. I buy mine (and other things) from Premier Seeds Direct who trade on eBay and notice that the type I buy are £1.29 from D.T. Brown and 99p from Premier for 10 more seeds. Can't actually find Brown's postage charges but Premier charge 70p so I'm quite happy with them, for the few veggies I buy at least.

If there`s a supplier of Thompson and Morgans in your area John, they will have DTBrowns as well.

Forgot to say, that Thompsons bought Browns as a "budget" brand.

I buy a lot of seeds, and the onions, shallots, potatoes and plants from Wilko`s. My clients are more than happy with what they get.

The seeds and bulbs are OK from Scarborough branch of Wilko's and if you can get plants as they arrive in the store then they are OK as well. But the staff here seem to have a policy of keeping everything dry. So after only a few days, in some cases, the plants start to look very sad and sorry, and by the time they are finished and sold off at 10p they are not saveable.

I don't think they even like martini Pete. No matter how dry it is. [IMG] I did ask a staff member once who was in charge of the plants' Her reply was - 'No-one, we take it in turns.' Need I elaborate.
