Do they need washing or anything? I've just cut a tomato open to get the seeds and hoping to plant them right away ☺ thanks

I ferment them in water for a few days, then dry them on kitchen towel, but that's just me

I tried both methods when we were bulking up the Manx Marvel tomato seed stock and didn't find any difference, but there are lots of people on t'internet who advocate Zigs method :dbgrtmb:
