Hoping that, if I buy them now, they will be fresh?

I'm tempted by these, any thoughts as to any that are unsuitable? Or that I could more easily buy locally?

    Aristolochia elegans
    Billardiera longifolia
    Dianella caerulea
    Dianella Tasmanica
Rhodophiala phycelloides - could I naturalise this along the front of my hot border?
    Swainsona formosa

    Dianella congesta
Arisaema concinnum (only 5 seeds of each of these though )
    Arisaema intermedium
    Arisaema tortuosum
Clitoria ternatea (cheaper than UK source, and maybe fresher?)
Tacca integrifolia (Maybe I should buy a plant / bulb instead?)
Yucca filamentosa - too slow to grow from seed??
    Allium Carinatum Ssp Pulchellum Album
    Allium Macranthum
    Allium Sikkimense
Arisaema Seed Collection (Arisaema Consanguineum, Arisaema Triphyllum, Arisaema Speciosum, Arisaema Nepenthiodes, Arisaema Ciliatum, Arisaema Costatum, Arisaema Flavum.)
    Arisaema Griffithii
    Arisaema Thunbergii Subsp Urashima
    Camassia Cusickii
    Camassia Leichtlinii
    Cypella Coelestis
    Erythronium Montanum
    Iris Missouriensis
    Lilium Philipinense
    Rhodiola Integrifolia

That's one heck of a list K! How are you researching if they'll survive UK conditions?

Camassia are probably just as easy to buy the bulbs in the UK TBH.
Tacca - source a plant is my advice. Collect your own seed from it if you must grow one from seed. The only way to be sure of freshness.

Do you have a web address for these seeds - I may be interested in chipping in.

The eBay site said they were Hardy - so that's ok then, eh? :heehee:

I'd like to have some Arisaema, I tried some this spring and got quite good germination but my aftercare wasn't good enough and they didn't last (although it is possible that they are dormant - I didn't have time to put them in the fridge to try to get two-seasons-in-one), and I figured if I bought a packet of 5 or 10 seeds of lots of varieties I'd probably have some seed that did nothing, and some varieties that I managed to keep alive.

Some of the Dianella are going to be a bit touch & go but I have taken a liking to them, so I thought I'd give them a try - who knows? we might have a run of mild winters :)

I think Rhodophiala is a pipe dream, but I need someone else to tell me that :) I fancy having their nodding red flowers all along the front of my Hot border.

For the rest I don't know. I avoided anything obviously difficult / wrong pH / too tender from the descriptions, but you're right in that I need to double check them from other sources. I thought I'd start with opinions from you guys (well, other than your normal "He's gone barking made again" opinion!)

    Thanks, I'll do that.

Happy to bulk up my order.

Some overlap between them, but not much on the things I am after.
