Is it okay to cover the new seeds in seed trays with cling film?

I have a couple of pieces of glass which I currently use but plan to grow (hopefully) more plants this year.

    Thanks

Yeah it OK, but its best removed as soon as the seedling show.
I think the glass is better, as you can turn it over to get rid of excess condensation.

    Um'
I keep the glass over my fairly deep heated propagator the same way up as far as I can.
My theory, and it is just a theory,is that humidity is good for the emerging seedlings and that any water dripping off the glass is warm and helps maintain the temperatures in the trays.
Whenever I remove the glass I try to dribble the warm water back into the propagator.
I'm also using cling film on trays in the GH outside the propagator and like Pete I remove the film when the seeds have germinated. If I don't remove the film I find it tends to sag onto the emerging shoots and squashes them.
