hi every one, the (good luck shammrock) seeds that i have planted is not the ones that flower, the good luck shammrock is like a 3 leaf clover type, and i was told its a very hard plant to grow, so if any one knows anything about this plant could you please tell me as much info as poss, like feeding, watering, sun, shade, can it live outside, or just inside, the only instructions i got with the plant was how to plant the seeds and how often to water it for 3 weeks and thats all, plus i was told by neighbours that this plant is very hard to buy or find and that every time some-one comes to ireland to visit they want some shammrock, and i was told to seperate the seedlings and have a few plants growing then sell them on. any info please regarding this plant, thank you paul walker.

Hi PW. After some research I suspect the seeds you have are Trifolium aka 'Clover'. As you may know Clover is a common native wildflower, but it has been cultivated with varigated leaves and suchlike and can now often be found in garden centres. I found a website which may be some help to you
    http://www.tippitiwitchet.co.uk/shamrock.html
We have two pots of Trifolium, here is a pic of our Trifolium repens 'White Clover' - Dragon's Blood. [IMG]
