I have planted as many seeds in my plastic covered outhouse as I could it is a little bit heated with central heating pipes running through from a boiler. I wanted to be early as I am usually too late. The leeks have germinated and some peppers.

I have just read in the previous post not to start too early and hte weather which was very mild for a long time turned pretty fierce now - Is there anything I can do to save the situation? Also what does leggy look like and can you do anything about that like earthing them up a bit more??

Hi Lapod. Planting too early under cover is more about light, than temperature. Just ensure your seedlings have plenty of light, and they should be fine - especially as you have some warmth.

Leggy seedlings just means the seedlings have long stems reaching for the light - but its now mid march and the sun is much higher - so everything should be fine.
