    Can't think of a reason you can't eat them apart from them not looking very nice.

    No worries, can't find any info that suggests it would make them bad to eat, just don't replant them & move to a different patch for spuds next year incase its the viral version.

    I see another cause could be calcium deficiency, difficult to balance out as too much encourages potato scab:doh:
