    Hello,

New to the forum, I am about to give my lawn an overhaul, so first I though best to apply a selective weedkiller to remove the unwanted. Does anyone have a recommendation of a good product to use? I see the old weedol is still going is this any good or better with one of the 'professional' labelled products, I see on ebay like this kind, sorry the forum won't let me use links. Ebay item number is 174275710404

    Thanks - In advance.

    Welcome to the forum.

That weed looks like Yarrow which is very difficult to kill with selective weedkiller. You could try feeding the lawn and regular mowing which may help to suppress it.

My plan is to apply a selective weed killer, scarify then top dress and seed. I may also hire a hollow tine machine to air the lawn.
