I have a Cucumber plant growing in the compost from last years plants. It will be from the Burpless Tasty Green plants I grew last year, will it be worth growing on or will the fruits be bitter or worse still will this plant effect this years Cucumbers.

I seem to remember that specialist seeds don't grow true. I can't believe it all the trouble I had at the start of the year with seeds then this one pops up all of its own accord.

    Thanks
    Dave

Hi davidguy,I would give it a chance if it`s away from whatever your growing this yr.I don`t think this japanese type bears bitter fruit? I`m no expert.Did you have to remove the male flowers?I`d be interested to learn.

    Hi elainefiz
No I did not have to do anything just let them grow and kept them watered, I am very busy with work and these were perfect as time is short for me at present.
The plant is growing in with the Tomatoes so I will try to move it at the weekend I may even try to grow it on outside.

    Thanks for the reply
    Dave
