Hi,i know this is a very basic question but can someone tell me how to get rid of the words, pop wanadoo.co.uk.They`re there in the box next to From and it will not be erased. Each time i try to send a fresh email i can`t and it comes up, sorry there has been an error.Obviously it should be my email thats in that box but it just will not be moved or let me type in my own email.anyone understand?
    thanks Elaine.

Well, Kandy, I'm a bit dumb on this but they are always on the system, unless it goes kaput (like when we had a lightning strike here!).

I have a proper "file system" on my computer. I call it Missives (my word) then I have files for each person under that. Every other day or so I transfer (click and drag) e's from the in and out box into their respective files and completely clear out my in and out box!

For further savings, how about these "sticks" which are very new to me!?

When I come back, if you haven't figured it out, I'll explain in detail, okay? But tell me in the meantime, can you do "drag and drop"? [IMG]

You can save emails as documents. Go to File, then Save As and save them were you want them. You can save individual messages or a whole file full of them.

Thank`s for replying PC Medic,i`d just about given up.I`m using Microsoft Outlook Express.(6?)If i try to click on email i don`t understand any of it.So,i go to home page, type in my email and password and i`m able to read etc.I can reply from an incomming but if i try to send a new email it wont let me saying, sorry there has been an error????Ive been using this computer for about 2yrs,with no previous knowledge at all and have basically tried to learn as i go.The thing is ,i still dont know the difference between hot mail, email, pop freeserve,server-pop wanadoo??? It`s all Irish to me.(no offence anyone). If it`s too much hassle,i`ll understand, but if you can enlighten me a little, i will be eternally grateful. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
