Does anyone have this Mexican Flame Vine? If so, are there any seeds going? Many thanks in advance.

I had one here about 7-8 years ago but it died due to lack of care as we were only coming over twice a year for 10 days each visit. However, I haven't seen one since and Chiltern Seeds doesn't list it.

Hello LOL, It looks like the pic is from a USA site. Try this US garden forum http://davesgarden.com
, maybe you will have some luck with the members there.
it looks like a lovely plant, I wonder if it is hardy to grow here? I am not sure what the USDA hardiness zones mean.

Hi, Blackthorn. Thanks for that. I am a member of Dave's Garden but not a paid subscriber. In case you didn't know, they are American as well!

I only put the Floridata info up to show about the plant. As to hardiness, the details say ...
" Hardiness:USDA 9 - 11. This tropical vine is killed to the ground by frost, but even in Zone 8 gardens it will quickly recover." I am a 10. It's difficult to define England, but between 7-9. USDA hardiness zones were developed in the States and adopted worldwide as a guide to what climate plants can surivive in.

It would probably survive with you with some winter mulch protection.
