Shadow

Thought you might like to see some pics of Shadow.
He is settling in fine now, had him at the vet and he was a bit under weight but not much, he is behaving vey well now, can't let him off the lead though he just heads for the horizon :rolleyes:

Lovely pics Dalbuie - he is so handsome! Youll have to watch Dog Borstal and get some tips on recall Other than that, attach him to a sled and go for a ride!! He is looking very fit, well and happy

Thanks,glad you liked them,we do watch dog borstal and thats where we learned the idea with the lead on a loop when out walking, its certainly worked but as for recall we've tried all the ideas they have suggested, he did come back but only when he felt like it, which was a bit nerve racking.We read that, if you want a dog you can let off the lead, don't get a husky

Yes, my Daisy dislikes most other dogs - we have got her to the point that if we keep far enough away, we can sort it. She is so good otherwise, comes back when called, stops and waits to the whistle and never goes too far - just has a prob with making new friends :rolleyes: Dog borstal goes as far as showing you how to do it on the lead but off it.......youre on your own!!!

 

I am so glad that Shadow is settling down well now dalbuie. It is nice to see him on the couch with Tia and rosa, your sketch is wonderful.

Glad to hear Shadow is doing well - its only a short time since you had him, so congratulations.
