I have a stone wall/rockery completly in shade and the only thing growing on it at the moment is moss and ivy as I am clearing the area up I wondered what I could plant there:dunno: I am ideally looking for small rockerey plants that will grow between the cracks can anyone advise? My garden is in Brittany (northern France)

How about Brunnera? I just bought one and potted it for now.
It looks rather like forget-me-nots but smaller flowers, with heart-shaped foliage which is a pale silver-grey with pronounced dark green veins.
They are meant to be grown in shady areas, and produces lush groundcover :)

    Hi Lucy,

I'd go for some ferns too, like Maidenhair, Rustyback & Wall Rue. Drought and shade tolerant. Oh, and Wall Pennywort.
