Checked on the young apple tree today in the garden. I only planted it a few months back. Most of the flowers have finished, but guess what's replaced them? Tiny baby apples. I can't believe it. I fully expected it to be at least a couple of years from planting to getting the first hint of actually apples, but they are there.

Now I guess its just a matter of making sure they remain there until they reach maturity later in the year.

      Hi

Thats fabulous news. I was actually considering buying a young apple tree this morning but I have got so many pests in my garden I walked away from it. I may go back to get it. How lovely to be able to go out into your garden and pick your own apples.

Good luck with it and hope you have loads of delicious apples.
