    He bought traditional Irish music to the younger folk.

        I love Pogues and Shane, even though I don't usually suffer badly behaving addicts.

        But there is something very bare and genuine here, an unhandsome lad belting away songs from his grandparents' past with true feeling. :)

        This one with Dubliners is a gem, Shane is obviously drunk and looks like one of those misfits behind the Metro station and yet the clip is full of joy of playing and singing together. Wonderful.
