    Hello all

    I hope you are well.

All of my Garden Tools are Stainless Steel and something that I am unsure about is how to sharpen them.

Can anyone please offer some advice how to, easily, sharpen Stainless Steel Garden Tools?

    Thanks in advance

    Kevin

    Hello @pete

    Thanks for the Reply.

I will be looking to sharpen Spades, Hoes, Shears and Half Moon Edger.

The Half Moon Edger is the one that needs sharpening first as there is no Cutting Edge on it at all resulting in the Grass being squashed rather than being Cut.

    Thanks in advance

    Kevin

You could probably sharpen that kind of digging implements with a fine file.
Shears I use a fine sharpening stone but if they are really blunt you might need to start with a coarse one.
You may need to adjust the nut in the centre if it's too loose and good oiling all over won't hurt.
