If anyone comes across any shelving or staging that would be suitable for use in a greenhouse, I'd appreciate a nod in my direction; I'm looking for them to be as cheap as possible (free would be even better), and they don't have to be in particularly superb nick as I am more than happy to adjust/repair whatever to make the most of them.

    Thanks in advance :)

:wow: That was quick - thank you. I can see some funds being diverted that direction on my next pay day :) :)

Can you not just use whatever planks of wood you have kicking about, stood on bricks or upturned old buckets? That's what I've done to add an extra level in my greenhouse.

I've already used most of it to modify the wooden shelving that I have - they were held together with a large metal X-shaped frame when I got them, but then I halved them height wise, negating the use of the metal frame, so I had to use my old wood to make cross supports etc.

I did think that these would be enough for me, but the more I pour through my seed box, the more I realise I need more!

I'll probably get a couple of those Wilko ones - I didn't realise they were so cheap. The cheapest I had found so far was £45, making it nearly £100 with delivery for a couple. £26 I can handle, plus I can pop to my nearest store and collect them. :)

Slightly deeper shelf than the Wilko one (by approx 5cm, so about 2 inches? So, overall and extra 8 inches)
LT0780D Botanico Greenhouse Staging Shelves currently 20% off and selling for £19.99 It also gets good reviews (can't see any on the Wilko's one :dunno: )

I've had no problems with them, crg.

In fact, I did rather well out of them; one item I ordered had part of it missing and I didn't realise it when I signed for it. They were very apologetic and sent out what I thought would be the missing half of the item. Wrong! They sent out a complete replacement. Now, without going into too much detail, the "wrong" one was still usable and is now installed in the copse end of my garden: bonus :dbgrtmb:

Did you contact Greenfingers when you had the courier issues?

That's interesting; I would have thought that changing their courier contract would have been better business practice. Or maybe they were tied into a contract with them for a set duration and that simply wasn't possible.

Really sorry you didn't have a good experience; I've only had a positive experience.

I'm making some for myself in the next fortnight. PM me where you are and I'll make you some, too. (Free, recycled wood.) It'll only work if the distance is not so bad.
