She's Started Again !.

My wife stopped buying kitchen gadgets a couple of years ago, but she's started again.
She purchased a three in one blender gadget this week, 'unknown to me of course'.

Our Grandchildren come every week for Lunch and Tea, so she thought,"I'll get a blender for their home made soup", which they love and look forward every week.
The Wife made the soup and blended it,then she asked me to sample it,I said it was nice,and kept my views to myself..

The kids came for Lunch and my wife served the blended soup to the table.
I could see the kids looking at each other, knowing myself what was coming.

The youngest one was designated to be spokesperson,she said:.
"Sorry Gran, we all prefer the other soup you always make, this soup is too thin,no lumps of veg or ham or anything, Sorry about that, but it's still tasty ". .

The Blender has joined the rest of the Kitchen Gadgets in a box in the loft.
Ah well , the wife's heart is in the right place,
And so are her Kitchen Gadgets. .

 

OOOOOoooh Kitchen gadgets, I thought I was the Queen, if there is a tool for the job, I have it, bought one of those electric shredder things, no names, 2 weeks ago for my coleslaw, useless, can`t shred cabbage, etc etc. I am in the process of trying to thin some of it out , no room in the cupboards, and struggle to find room to put a plate on the work surfaces.
I confess to having loads of handbags, and shoes with 3 or 4 inch heels I can no longer wear.

 

I've cupboards dedicated to kitchen gadgets that never see the light of day

 

... ready to be sold on Ebay/Boot Fair/Garage Sale ...
(it's all about, "perspective" you know )

 

You have to try 'em Music if you don't, how do you know you shouldn't have bothered to buy them!

 

I think if she reads your post, Music, she'll be putting YOU in the blender.

 

I think it`s a woman thing, like men collect screws, but never got the right one for the job.
