      My parents, along with many others, worshipped the ground she walked on. An amazing child star - never equalled or bettered in my opinion,

        She was a good performer and a child prodigy. In later life she put an fantastic effort into helping others.

        Shirley was a good dancer and a reasonable singer. Unfortunately her voice wasn't quite good enough for 'The Wizard of Oz' otherwise she would have been an enormous star.



        She was taught a lot of her tap dancing by Mr BoJangles who was a fabulous dancer

          Another of the type of star that will be remembered long after her death and one who will never be replaced.

            Normally you find that Stars and celebrities have Roses named after them but in Shirley Temple's case she has a Paeonia named after her...Paeonia "Shirley Temple"

            I have had one for nearly 20 years and it's a fine plant and a fitting tribute to her.
