:thumb: Lovely Woo..!! :thumb: We have some woods near us but I have not ventured up there this year yet since the snow as it is still so boggy at the bottom of the hill up to them.... I could drive around to the other side, but I won't :old: as I have walked the same route for nearly 40yrs... I cannot do this get in the car thing then walk when you are only a couple of miles from home..!:dh: So thank you Woo for sharing.. :thumb:

I have never walked round Cobham hall, didn't know it was open to the public :o but my youngest goes to Cobham primary, so I know the village well enough. Our daily dog walks often involve up the Darnley mausoleum (sp?) so past the top grounds of Cobham hall and ashenbank woods.
Are you far from here? :D

Hey Woo - you didn't happen to spot my OH and a blonde curly haired ten year old boy did you? They are down at Shorne Country Park now - likely in behind the scout hut area somewhere - I'm waiting at home for the boiler repair guy :( My son's school do a big sponsored walk through there every year - lovely park.

Axie-Ali - my first job here in the UK to get to know some locals and get a local reference was at the Leather Bottle in Cobham - lovely pub! I hear it's changed owners now though as bumped into the old landlord Tony the other day, and he's moved up to Vigo behind us.

ETA: Just noticed you posted this yesterday....so no, you wouldn't have bumped into them! lol - they are still there ;)
