Should Dihydrogen Monoxide be banned?

    That article looks very US based. Never heard of it before but there are a lot of products out there that are dangerous.

    Yes - I agree with the article - they have put a very good case. I am all for banning solid dihydrogen monoxide. I go to great lengths to shield my garden and plants from that evil substance. I understand the problem of liquid dihydrogen monoxide is even worse in western Ireland.

    Yes, the level of Dihydrogen Monoxide in the air in Western Ireland was three times the monthly average in November. And for the start of December, it is showing no sign of abating.

    Kindredspirit, I think many members are not able to solve this appalling crime. You are going to have to have a Hercule Poirot moment, calling us all in, and then revealing the name of the true terror. :D

    dihydrogen monoxide is an unfamiliar name for (WATER) it is a hoax.the last hoax was 1994
    when some bright sparks tried to panic the public .as if we dont have enough to worry about.
    when people see the word !MONOXIDE" in a chemical chain ,they panic. music.:wink:
