Has anybody got an Acer which is showing Autumn colours yet? Mine are still very much green/purple but I'd love to see pics if anyone has any that have 'turned' :blue thumb:

Mine are still in summer mode, but showing slight sign of turning
Orange dream, Atropurpureum purple, sango kaku, butterfly, garnet, shigatatsu and one I got from wilko's 3 years ago and don't know its name, which is always the 1st to start turning.

I have one that we moved in July which is turning red - which would be earlier than normal, but its probably the stress of being moved. Proof of the pudding will be if it comes BACK into leaf next Spring :)

This is it last year on 11-Nov (it had a vine growing through it, didn;t manage to keep that during the transplant)

I'll take a picture tomorrow to show how it is changing :)

@mowgley ...that Wiko's acer is gorgeous and looks really healthy. My two acers in pots are a bit of an embarrassment!! Can you give me any tips please so they can maybe look as good as yours next year? :)

Thx @Fern4 . This year they have done really well.
Fed in the spring with phostrogen and let them dry out between waterings
            Fed again in august.
That's it really,I know that they prefer to be pot boundish

None of mine have started to show yet, with the possible exception of Acer Japonicum Aconitifolium which is somewhat spectacular when it does, and is usually amongst the first. Pics when it happens :)
