Show us your Christmas decorations 2022

Ours come out of the loft on Tuesday the 6th, St Nicholas Day, but I will start with a funny ... ​

 

After B became unwell and couldn't cope with all the fuss we just made do with the cards. Then after she died I couldn't be bothered.
I may get them down this year, if I can find them amongst all the other stuff in the attic !

 

I'm starting mine on Monday, it will take me most of the day to do the tree, but i love it. The collection gets bigger every year, this year i've bought 5 figures, a swag and lots of baubles, cones and a small flocked Christmas tree, most of them reduced or special offer. I've got them in a built-in wardrobe and it's getting full.

 

None this year as we're going away.
I find them a bit claustrophobic , despite never putting many up anyway.
I hate putting them up and take them down as soon as possible.

 

don't do much, just this star in the window. and big red bows, one on the light post beginning of the driveway, and lights flanking the front door. re-do the mantel in the living room. change the front door wreath to the Christmas one. that's it.

 

Here's Father and Mother Christmas ... my mother knitted the clothes for them many years ago.
Mother Christmas's hat looks skewhiff I'll have to straighten it !







The poinsettias are artificial

As it is St Nicholas Day our outside lights went on with The Baffa lit in the background ...

Today finished the tree and underneath snow and lights. The clear ones are made of acrylic.

On the other side is this, the large snow man and the tallest tree are new.
