    Hi there,
Wondering if anyone knows what this shrub is that seems to keep self seeding around the garden?
Is it desirable or does it want to go?
    Thanks. DCB61970-91C9-4D98-BF2D-F33C016EF843.jpeg

It looks like it could be Spurge laurel (Daphne laureola.)
edit: beat me to it, nut!

        Thanks for the replies.

It seems to be appearing everywhere at the moment.

Would you choose to keep them? They are appearing in "informal" areas, behind the garage, in hedgerows etc etc.

          Yeah, I don't mind them.

However, after a quick google - it seems they are classed as a weed, and the berries are poisonous to dogs etc?
We have a dog who is literally into everything, im thinking they may have to go?

if every poisonous plant in the garden was removed there wouldn't be much left. To me weed describes anything I don't like. Fear is the current climate. People, pets and plants coexisted for a very long time before hysteria set in.
