Shrub ID

    I can't help but feel I should know what shrub this is, but it is eluding me.
    A work mate was given this, and it is is a young shrub, thus small.
    My mate wants to know what it is, so she can tell if it would be better at the back end of the garden or up the front, depending on final height and width.
    Any ideas?

    :scratch: Hmm hard to tell from the pic but it could be one of the several kinds of Euonymous.. Have a google..

      Macro pictures are always hard to identify. It could be Euonymus japonica, or just as easily, Cherry laurel.:dbgrtmb:
