Looking at my my various fruit trees and shrubs the signs are good that it could be a bumper year for fruit :), lots of variables yet of course, late frosts, poor pollination etc but I'm being optimistic :)

My plum tree that has only had a handful of flowers/fruit for the last 2 years is covered in buds, hundreds of them.

My little Pear tree from Aldi last year has abundant flower buds too.

My Cherry tree also from Aldi is covered in flower buds.

As is my Apple tree and Blueberry bushes....Happy Days ahead ( I Hope )

Signs were good last year in my garden Bilbo ... sadly I didn't get as much as I'd hoped. If I remember, I think it was lack of pollination then.

Good luck and wishing you that bumper harvest!

Flowers are very early this year ... more risk of something going wrong than when they flower late

I reckon we will get more frosts in March (High pressure, clear skies) than the rest of the winter ...

Sea temperature is high, so we might not get any particularly sharp frosts.

stuffs only just waking up here but it looks promising and nextdoor but one tells me he thinks both his bee hives have survived the winter so that should help as last year he lost both hives early on - just hope I don't loose all the pears like last year

Frost forecast for tomorrow night but luckily none of the buds are open yet and there are plenty of bees about already ready and waiting

Signs are now that it may be a useless harvest for this year's veg
